MacTwin from Andrew Corporation is one of the IBM Midrange related products from this company.
It is a combo of a Twinax Interface Card, the necessary adapter to the actual Twinax Cabling, with accompanying software. It enables the usage of all seven available addresses on a Twinax Bus to emulate either a 5250 terminal, or a Twinax Printer. The actual Software is dated ©1994.
Features
The Software itself is split into components:
- The Terminal Emulator, InterAxcess.
- A Control Panel for setting the address type (Terminal or Printer), and routing Twinax addresses to either the local Client Software, or the AppleTalk Network.
- The Networking Code, either Client, or Server.
It is important to note that the Network Server function is not available with the MacTwin Card.[1]

The Control Panel lets you choose between the following 5250 terminal types:
- 5251-11

- 5292-1
- 3179-2
